Potentials of the Mobile Tablet for Formative Assessment in Mathematics Education

Dr. Ghislain Maurice Isabwe gave an insightful presentation on how the proliferation of mobile devices is causing remarkable changes in our ways of life. Mobile technology is mature and getting more affordable. The presentation discussed how mobile technology can foster new learning opportunities in higher education. Findings of research work on tablet-based assessment of mathematics suggest that there are many possibilities for innovation in future learning.
